TUFFkushion® TUFFTREAD

The TUFFkushion® midsole provides a much lighter construction that allows for longer wear time with less fatigue, as well as increased shock-absorbance and compression sets -- returning more energy to the wearer of the boot than any other form of military footwear. Not to mention the increased bond strength created by the direct injection method, while simultaneously maximizing waterproofness and/or water resistance.

Wellco's Tufftread outsole design is the latest in military footwear outsole technology. The Tufftread's angled cleat contour, combined with interior triangular cleat design, provides the boot with maximized traction and minimized weight. The rubber formulation in the Tufftread provides the ultimate in abrasion resistance, resulting in the longest possible life expectancy of the boot. DMS - Direct Molded Sole

Vulcanized DMS (Direct Molded Sole) construction is designed for maximum bond and durability. The government specification Panama sole features light-weight, abrasion resistant, nitrile rubber with a self-cleaning, high traction tread design.
